Job Summary

The Mundy Companiesa leader in the industrial maintenance services and construction fields is currently hiringthe following for a long-term position in the Orange Texasarea:

INDUSTRIAL JANITOR
5 x 8s Days

Successful candidates will have a minimum of at leasta yearof continuous and current experience as an Industrial Janitor in a petrochemical industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Keep buildings in a clean and orderly condition
Perform various cleaning duties
Perform routine maintenance cleaning tasks
Organize custodial closets and spaces
Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cleaning maintenance or other related fields is preferred but not required
Ability handle a physical workload when needed

The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time. This positions requires a strong commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing is also qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check pre-employment drug screen and other qualifications as required.
