What youll own
Design roll out and maintain inpatient clinical-coding audit processes and training materials.
Deliver training and coaching to both new and existing staff for coding accuracy and compliance.
Audit inpatient records/documentation: identify errors gaps and improvement opportunities.
Partner with cross-functional teams (coding HIM managed-care ops) to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
Assess and refine the effectiveness of audit/training effortsmeasure iterate improve.
Qualifications :
What were looking for
Active RN license and one of the following coding certifications: CPC CIC or CCS.
Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field preferred (or work-equivalent experience).
Minimum 4 years experience in nursing auditing or training within a managed-care or hospital environment.
Proven ability to present coach and write clearly and effectively.
Prior inpatient-coding audit experience strongly preferred.
