Job Summary
Position Description:
Join CGI and contribute to the growth of one of the worlds largest independent IT and business consulting services firms.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Salesforce Architect you will be responsible for:
Defining the technical architecture of CGIs Salesforce environment;
Developing and maintaining a library of templates best practices and reusable knowledge assets;
Validating the architecture and design of new projects and initiatives;
Promoting reuse of Salesforce platform components and integration features;
Identifying communicating and mitigating risks that could impact project success;
Providing technical strategy and guidance for Salesforce deployments and helping define adoption strategies across CGI;
Managing complex technical issues and acting as a technical lead for development teams;
Supporting multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously;
Leading mentoring and training team members while overseeing daily technical activities;
Facilitating design workshops and promoting best-in-class architectural solutions;
Staying informed about industry trends in accessibility usability and emerging technologies and integrating them into future solutions;
Maintaining a strong understanding of CGIs business domains applications and functional requirements;
Supporting all phases of the project lifecycle: analysis design development deployment and post-delivery support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent;
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills;
Strong team spirit and client-service orientation;
Ability to work in an Agile environment and meet tight deadlines;
Deep practical knowledge of the Salesforce platform including implementation best practices and enterprise systems integration;
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of varying technical expertise;
Proficiency in both French and English (bilingualism required for this global role);
Hands-on experience with (Service Cloud Sales Cloud Experience Cloud) workflows mobility SSO and APIs;
Proven technical leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels;
Experience designing architectures for medium- and large-scale projects;
Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce community and portal implementations;
Advanced proficiency with development Lightning components APEX Visualforce AppExchange apps and system integration
