Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stockroom Attendant to join our team in a fast-paced medical facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments opening inventory boxes stocking shelves and ensuring that supplies are properly organized and accessible. This role plays a vital part in maintaining an efficient and smooth operation by ensuring that all departments have timely access to the supplies they need.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
Open inventory boxes and verify correct items have been delivered.
Stock shelves with new inventory ensuring that items are stored in an orderly manner.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
Collaborate with department teams to maintain an efficient storage space.
Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

Some high school education or equivalent.
Experience in stock handling is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 40lbs) and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

You will work in a medical facilitys storage area and may need to move throughout the building.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and timeliness.
