The Charge Technologist - Evening Shift is responsible for the evening shift including supervising staff operatingequipment procuring specimens maintaining equipment where applicable and performing technical procedures inaccordance with established professional standards and hospital policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Training And Experience
Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) certification as a Medical Laboratory completion of a recognized diploma program in Medical Laboratory Technology. Three years laboratoryexperience including one years supervisory experience.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to supervise.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
