Procurement Systems Supervisor

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Systems this position will be the local subject matter expert on various Procurement systems and data. You will act as the key business representative who supports our vendor master data team as well as the data within the core ERP system. The individual will also provide support to system users in various applications most notably Oracle and Sigma. You will be involved in the day-to-day issues and enhancement work with our Procurement system applications used by the Purchasing and Supply Chain teams. The employee will be expected to make recommendations to business leaders regarding the usage of certain supply chain applications and key processes to ensure that best practices are being followed. The role will have a strong emphasis on Procurement analytics development and vendor master data.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Procurement Supply Chain Finance Materials Management or other functions to fully understand the Business process requirements and concerns of the day-to-day operations
  • Work with all Oracle Support teams to identify the Oracle systems capabilities and limitations within the Procure-To-Pay Build to Order and other areas; drive/test enhancements and process improvements with the same team
  • Liaison between users and system developers to ensure the business requirements are fully understood so that standard system activity and processes can be set up to achieve business goals and objectives; may require redesigning existing processes to fit the system footprint
  • Interact with senior business leaders across various departments and be prepared to present your own viewpoints to those leaders as needed
  • Develop key analytics including datasets and dashboards to assist business users and leaders in effective decision making; be a key team member to a Procurement analytics team
  • Drive global standards whenever necessary. Utilize dashboards and data to derive business insights
  • Work towards metric standardization for the Procurement and Supply Chain organizations; recommend and assist with the implementation of key policies and standard work
  • Assist with the Supplier Master Data Management activity and lead others in support of accurate data management; be the expert between Syndigo and Oracle MDM; control the master data standards

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or Operations Management Finance Information Systems or an IT-related field
  • Minimum 5 years related work experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain
  • Must have prior ERP system work experience
  • Past analytical development experience
  • Basic understanding of PL/SQL and modern databases
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience working with global and/or offshore resource teams
  • Very Good understanding of the Oracle EBS system
  • Prior management experience leading a team
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of PL/SQL
  • Working knowledge of Oracle cloud a plus
  • Extensive experience with modern analytical tools such as Sigma Tableau Power BI etc.
  • Specialized Masters Degree or MBA

Collaboration First Hybrid Work Arrangements:

This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs.
