Job Summary
Relief Security Officer Rochester
Location: Rochester Kent - ME1 2XX
Hours: 24 hours per week / Shift Times - 7-7 (Days Nights & Weekends)
Pay: 13.65 per hour
Must be a British citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years

We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team in Rochester. This is a full-time role offering consistent hours in a secure and supportive working environment.
What Does a Security Officer Do
Security Officers play a vital role in protecting people property and information. They act as a visual deterrent prevent unauthorized access monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents and emergencies. This position helps ensure the safety and security of premises 24/7.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches
Manage access control and verify ID for staff visitors and contractors
Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm effective manner
Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
Conduct regular internal and external security checks
Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment
Enforce site-specific procedures and health & safety regulations
Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure
Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed
Qualifications :
Key Requirements:
Must be a British citizen by birth or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
Hold a valid SIA licence
Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
5-year checkable work history is required
Flexible to work days nights and weekends
This position is subject to enhanced background checks and government security vetting.
