Griffith Universitys Advancement Office is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated fundraising professionals to join the Health and Biomedical Fundraising Team.
Working as part of a collaborative purpose driven high-performing Advancement group this team drives philanthropic support for Griffith Health and the Institute for Glycomics (IBG) that are on the forefront of research and innovation in medical science public health and clinical practice.
An opportunity is available depending on skills and experience for individuals passionate about advancing health and biomedical research through major gifts and principal gift partnerships.
Team members within the Health and Biomedical Fundraising portfolio will contribute to securing major and principal gifts to advance Griffiths health and biomedical priorities. Depending on the role and level responsibilities may include:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of prospective and current donors
- Developing and implementing engagement and solicitation strategies
- Supporting strategic fundraising initiatives for Griffith Health and IBG
- Working collaboratively with academic and Advancement colleagues to align philanthropic opportunities with research and teaching strengths

About you
The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in fundraising business development within the education health sciences medical research or non-profit sectors.
You will also have demonstrated experience in securing major gifts grants and philanthropic funding from individuals foundations corporations or government agencies. You will have strong knowledge of fundraising strategies including capital campaigns endowments donor relations and planned giving.
