SALARY RANGE: $74250 - $87250

SUMMARY: The Procurement Training Manager supports the design development and delivery of engaging instructor-led trainings workshops and webinars tailored for public procurement professionals. This role combines content development and live facilitation responsibilities ensuring that Procurement U programs are relevant accurate and aligned with adult learning best practices. This position supports the Senior Procurement Training Manager and Director of Instructor-Led Training in the execution and delivery of live learning programs and collaborates closely with SMEs and staff to ensure content and training reflects current procurement trends and best practices.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training development and Delivery:
Support the design and delivery of high-quality instructor-led and live-onlineprocurement training programs.
Facilitate live-online and in-person trainings as assigned ensuring sessions areinteractive and learner-focused.
Assist in the development of presentation materials syllabi assessments and handoutsfor Procurement U courses.
Review and refine training content for accuracy relevance and alignment withprocurement standards and learner needs.


Curriculum and Content Support:
Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to:-Analyze the learning needs of target audiences.-Determine clear learning objectives.-Design and develop blended learning content and activities.
Conduct research to ensure curriculum content reflects procurement best practicespolicies and trends.
Support the creation and administration of learning assessments evaluations andfeedback tools to measure training effectiveness.
Collaboration and Program Support:
Work with internal NASPO teams and external partners to coordinate training initiatives and course content.
Support Procurement U presence at NASPO conferences and external events including supporting NASPOs in-person training presence at events through session facilitation and engagement with learners.
Provide customer service and learner support through the Procurement U Learning Management System.
Perform other duties as assigned to advance NASPOs professional development mission.


APPROXIMATE TRAVEL TIME: 20% of the year (8-10 trips)


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities but will provide guidance to instructors and SMEs.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum 35 years of public procurement experience; State-level experience preferred.
Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or related public procurement or contract management certification preferred
Strong facilitation presentation and communication skills both written and verbal required.
Demonstrated project management skills; ability to manage time and meet deadlines independently or collaboratively.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and experience developing educational programs for adult professionals.
High attention to detail with proven ability to organize and prioritize.
