As the Director of Group Sales youll lead the strategy and execution of group business at one of Utahs premier resorts. Youll focus on corporate SMERF government and association markets building lasting relationships and driving revenue across rooms meetings and events.

What Youll Do as a Director of Group Sales:
- Achieve group sales goals and drive revenue across key market segments.
- Source negotiate and close new group business while maintaining existing client relationships.
- Develop creative sales strategies and marketing initiatives to increase market share.
- Collaborate with operations and catering teams to ensure seamless execution of group events.
- Represent the resort at tradeshows networking events and client meetings.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Lead train and motivate the Account Manager to meet departmental objectives.

Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hotel sales management experience preferably in group or event sales.
- Proven success in budgeting forecasting and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations group sales cycles and hospitality standards.
- Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/sales management software.
