What You Will Do:
Provide departmental leadership and oversight for the safe and effective management design and execution of small- to mid-scale engineering projects and programs within Liquids Pipelines (LP) and Gas Transmission & Midstream (GTM).
Deliver a portfolio of core maintenance growth and operations projects ensuring alignment with business objectives stakeholder needs and safety standards.
Manage and develop a team of Project Engineers and Portfolio Specialists responsible for executing Maintenance Capital projects
Partner with Project Management leadership to strategically allocate resources set projects up for success and provide professional growth opportunities for team members.
Develop and implement internal KPIs for Project Engineering and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partners to measure and improve performance.
Ensure resources are engaged early in project development to support future-year planning.
Who You Are:
PEng with 10 years related experience in energy sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Proven conceptual relationship building and decision making skills
Proven people leader skills
Working Conditions:
Work performed primarily in the office.
Travel approximately 20% of the time.
Holiday and extra hours work as necessary may be required.
Numerous often competing interests must be managed concurrently whilst negotiating/influencing within and outside the organization.
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
