Job Summary
How Will You Make An Impact
This role will support Operations Leaders and Associates at the plant with various manufacturing related/plant projects during a period of growth.
Location:
This position will be based on-site at our St. Pete FL - Bryan Dairy - manufacturing facility.
Shift:
Day shift with flexibility needed regarding start/end times depending on business needs.
What Will You Do
Plant site-specific resource (local/factory lead).
Daily interface with project team members.
Manage the internal resource capacity and tooling requirements to support the project.
Ensure tooling equipment and testers etc. are ready for the builds.
Participate in the site program kick off meetings.
Hold and chair internal kick-off meetings.
Ensure programs process development is executed to plan.
Prepare regular reports for the project review.
Provide essential project status and progress information to Customer/Program Manager.
Highlight any major concerns that may affect the project deliveries.
Solve problems and remove roadblocks to keep the project moving forward.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
How Will You Get Here
Education:
Bachelors degree in Process Engineering Lead Manufacturing or related field.
Experience:
3 years of related project management experience within an operations environment.
Or an equivalent combination of education experience and/or training.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of Jabils software packages.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
IE background preferred.
Must have flexible working hours to cover multiple shifts as needed.
