Yoxford and Peasenhall School have an exciting new opportunity to appoint a dedicated and approachable School Club Teaching Assistant (Curriculum Enrichment Leader) to join their team to lead the breakfast and after school curriculum enrichment provision.
We are looking for someone who brings a commitment to supporting childrens well-being providing nurture and enthusiasm to children in their extra-curricular activities and learning. Support would be given in planning and providing an exciting programme. This role would provide the ideal opportunity for an individual to work creatively in a school environment on a part-time basis
The Consortium Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and this may include social media checks.
Requirements
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
- has strong relationship building skills and techniques
- is passionate about helping children reach their potential
- can communicate clearly with children and adults verbally and in writing
- has experience of working with all ages of children in school
- is able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
- is confident in supporting good behaviour and is confident in deploying a range of behaviour management strategies
- has a full understanding of Safeguarding

Qualifications
Essential:
- Grade C /4 level Numeracy and Literacy
