The Data Technology and Innovation (DTI) division enables the FCA to be a digital-first data-led smart regulator by delivering a secure agile and cost-effective technology and data ecosystem that drives better decisions transparency and operational efficiency.
Sitting within DTI the Digital Intelligence Solutions team deliver a Digital Unified Intelligence Environment (DUIE) to surface insights for action through tools dashboards and bespoke analysis.
Role responsibilities
Guide the delivery and enhancement of the departments business dashboards supporting directorates such as Supervision Authorisations and strategic programmes
Oversee the FCAs social media listening tool and vendor relationship ensuring it is used effectively to generate actionable insights
Act as the Data Steward for consumer and social media data managing contracts ensuring compliant and responsible usage and upholding FCA governance standards
Drive innovation through SOCMINT designing new analytical products coordinating communications initiatives and expanding the reach of consumer insight across the organisation
Support mentor and develop a team of Senior Analysts fostering professional growth through coaching training and career development opportunities
Operate in a dynamic fast-paced environment translating complex data into clear insights engaging stakeholders across the organisation and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the Digital Intelligence Solutions department
Skills required
Minimum:
Prior experience working with analytics or insights from consumer social or market sources including prior exposure to SOCMINT and vendor tools
Hands on experience using dashboards and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) to present insights clearly to business users
Experience in managing a team including coaching training and mentoring analysts to develop their skills
Essential:
Excellent time and task-management skills able to deliver high-quality outputs under tight deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills able to engage senior members build trust and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Curious and proactive mindset continuously seeking opportunities to learn upskill and innovate within the team and wider organisation
