The mission of the Secretary of States office is to serve the public by meeting its legal responsibilities of collecting securing and communicating information that enhances commerce ensures the integrity of Louisianas elections and preserves presents and makes accessible government information essential to Louisianas operations and its recorded history.
The Louisiana State Exhibit Museum is seeking an Administrative Coordinator 3 or 4 to assist the Administrative Program Manager and perform a variety of duties related to the curatorial functions at the museum.
AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING COMPETENCIES:
- Accepting Direction:The ability to accept and follow directions from those higher in the chain of command.
- Communicating Effectively:The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas.
- Demonstrating Accountability:The ability to accept ownership for your actions behaviors performance and decisions.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

- Compile reports.
- Prepare materials for meetings.
- Transcribe data from catalog worksheets into the collection database.
- Assist the museum Curator.
- Conduct tours.
- Answer phone calls and greet guests.
