Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Pharmacist Outpatientfor an exciting job in Faribault MN.

Responsibilities

Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy appropriateness and potential drug interactions.
Dispense prescribed medications in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage dosage side effects and storage.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare staff to optimize pharmacologic therapy.
Maintain and monitor patient medication profiles to prevent duplication and adverse reactions.
Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization processes.
Manage pharmacy inventory and controlled substance documentation.
Administer immunizations and conduct basic health screenings as permitted.
Educate patients on disease prevention and chronic condition management.
Stay current on new drug therapies formulary updates and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
License: Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Minnesota.
Experience: 13 years of outpatient or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of pharmacology and drug interactions.
- Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems (e.g. Epic Cerner or equivalent).
