Job Summary

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Location: Phoenix AZ

Compensation: Up to $110K base 10% bonus

Work Type: On-Site

The Kostelic Agency has exclusively partnered with a multi-entity organization in the industrial products space that continues to grow and evolve and theyre ready to add an Accounting Manager to take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations across several business units.

This role offers variety visibility and genuine work-life balance within a laid-back collaborative culture. Ideal for either a current Accounting Manager or a Senior Accountant ready for that next step who values stability and being part of a close-knit team.

Role Overview:

Own day-to-day accounting across multiple entities.
Manage journal entries general ledger and month-end close.
Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff.
Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes:
AP Monitor shared inbox process payments and pull reports.
AR Ensure billing accuracy and proper revenue recognition; serve as the escalation point when needed.
Lead the month-end close process improving efficiency from the current month-long cycle to a 6-day close target.

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
4 years of progressive accounting experience; open to both rising talent and experienced managers seeking stability.
Proven longevity and consistency in career history.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition and general accounting principles.
Microsoft environment experience preferred the company is moving to MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (currently uses QuickBooks).
Experience with Stripe or other payment-processing systems is a plus.
