- Maintain accurate financial records in line with school and local authority requirements
- Process purchase orders invoices and payments efficiently
- Support budget preparation forecasting and financial reporting
- Monitor departmental spending and provide up-to-date budget information to staff
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and audit requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (school or education sector experience desirable)
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g. FMS SIMS or similar) and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy school environment
- A relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g. AAT) is desirable but not essential
