Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a high-achieving and ambitious secondary school in Basingstoke Hampshire. This is a full-time permanent position starting in January 2026 offering an excellent opportunity to inspire students and contribute to an outstanding Languages Department.

Role Information
You will teach MFL across KS3KS5 specialising in French and/or Spanish depending on your area of expertise. The role will involve delivering engaging lessons that foster fluency confidence and cultural understanding. You will also contribute to the departments extra-curricular programme including trips abroad language clubs and cultural events.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related discipline
PGCE and QTS (or equivalent)
Ability to teach at least one language to KS5 and a second to KS4
Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
Passion for inspiring students to achieve linguistic and cultural excellence
Salary
Paid to scale on MPS / UPS
