Role Information
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance security and general upkeep of the school premises. Key duties include opening and locking up the site carrying out minor repairs liaising with contractors ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and supporting the safe operation of all school facilities. The role also involves assisting staff with site-related tasks and ensuring that all areas are accessible and secure for pupils with additional needs.

Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in caretaking facilities or maintenance desirable
Understanding of safeguarding and health and safety in a school or care setting
Strong practical skills and attention to detail
Empathetic patient and able to work well around children with special educational needs
Reliable flexible and able to manage time effectively

Salary
Paid according to experience and local support staff pay scale
