We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team and manage key accounting functions with precision and leadership.

Position Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the companys financial transactions maintaining accurate records ensuring statutory compliance and supervising the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Zoho Books excellent analytical skills and the ability to lead and mentor a small finance team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable bank reconciliation and general ledger entries.
Oversee and maintain financial records in Zoho Books ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data entry and reporting.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Handle GST TDS and other statutory filings in compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
Supervise and guide junior accountants and finance team members; allocate tasks and ensure timely deliverables.
Monitor cash flow budgeting and forecasting processes to support business decision-making.
Assist management with financial analysis cost control and profitability tracking.
Ensure confidentiality accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
Communicate effectively in English and Kannada with internal teams vendors and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce Accounting Finance or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proven experience in team management and leadership within a finance department.
Hands-on expertise in Zoho Books and other accounting software.
Strong knowledge of GST TDS payroll accounting and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada (spoken and written).
High attention to detail strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities effectively.
