Summary:
-
Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
-
Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical and/or electrical/electronic faults and support repairs of faulty components.
-
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks maintenance and modification activities.
-
Resolve issues identified during operation and testing of deliverable products.
-
Verify accuracy of completed work and conduct self-inspections as needed.
-
Support system and subsystem pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery.
-
Participate in planning and scheduling work activities to meet a wide range of objectives.
-
Work independently with guidance from a lead; work is reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
-
This position is 100% onsite at one of the listed location options.
Requirements:
-
High School diploma or GED and typically 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school or Associate degree).
-
Ability to work any shift including days nights and weekends.
-
Minimum of 6 months avionics and/or electrical experience.
-
Minimum of 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
-
Minimum of 6 months knowledge or experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
-
6 months of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing.
-
6 months of experience with the 787 Program.
-
Familiarity with the Boeing Production System.
-
6 months of experience with Field or Flight Line Operations.
