Job Title: Maintenance Technician (SPANISH)
Location: Buffalo NY (On-site)
Reports To: Safety and Maintenance Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $20.00 $28.00 per hour (based on experience)
Expected Hours: 50 65 hours per week

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance repair and rebuild activities on a variety of mechanical systems with a particular emphasis on pump systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in welding and cutting strong troubleshooting abilities and a proven commitment to maintaining a safe clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

Troubleshoot repair and rebuild pump systems (centrifugal gear diaphragm etc.) used in production.

Perform cutting and welding (MIG TIG and stick) for equipment fabrication and repair.

Ensure all work complies with safety health and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis as needed.

Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and achieve operational goals.

Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.

Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shifts as assigned and to work overtime when required.
Qualifications: -
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred.

2 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Solid understanding of pump systems-repair rebuild and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in welding and cutting techniques including proper safety procedures.

Strong focus on safety cleanliness and workplace organization.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical manuals.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
