Job Summary
Care Assistant Days. Birkdale Tower Care Home
- £12.21 per hour
- 44 hours per week
- 8am-8pm
- Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship
Birkdale Tower Care Home located in the heart of Birkdale Southport is a beautifully restored landmark offering luxurious surroundings and exceptional person-centred care. As part of the Sandstone Care Group we pride ourselves on creating a warm supportive environment where residents feel truly at home.
We are currently recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and help deliver outstanding care during daytime hours.
As a Care Assistant on Days your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care hygiene and daily living activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting residents with mobility and mealtime needs
- Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes or concerns
- Maintaining accurate care records and contributing to clear handovers
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe calm and welcoming environment
What are we looking for
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring professional approach with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work day shifts including weekends on a rota basis

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
