Job Summary

Field Crane Technician

Dallas TX

Hourly Rate: $25.00-$45.00 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS PAT EKS ECOS & MEGA-TRACK system.
Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
Reads understands and interprets operating/parts manuals blueprints and technical drawings.
Test mechanical electronic electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
Properly fills out working reports hours reports time sheets hours overviews and expense reports.
Provides excellent customer service.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.
Must possess a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
Basic computer skills preferred.
