Field Crane Technician
Dallas TX
Hourly Rate: $25.00-$45.00 (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS PAT EKS ECOS & MEGA-TRACK system.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Reads understands and interprets operating/parts manuals blueprints and technical drawings.
- Test mechanical electronic electrical and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
- Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
- Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
- Properly fills out working reports hours reports time sheets hours overviews and expense reports.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required.
- Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus.
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
