Job Summary
Role: Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA)
Location: Hybrid Local to Detroit MI or Naperville IL (Onsite 2-3 days/week)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Work Authorization: Open to W2
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager / Business Analyst (PM/BA) to lead end-to-end project delivery and business analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions ensuring alignment between stakeholders and development teams to deliver successful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning execution tracking and delivery using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Gather document and analyze business requirements translating them into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders technical teams and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project scope timelines risks and budgets providing regular status reports to leadership.
- Facilitate workshops requirement sessions and sprint planning meetings.
- Develop user stories process flows and acceptance criteria.
- Drive continuous process improvement and recommend best practices.
- Coordinate UAT change management and post-implementation review activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business or related field.
- 7 years of combined experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst.
- Proven experience managing medium-to-large scale IT or business transformation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA Confluence MS Project and Visio.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP CSM or CBAP certification preferred.
- Experience in financial services manufacturing or healthcare domains is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
