Title: Tooling Project Manager Reports To: Director of Manufacturing Engineering Department: Engineering FLSA Status: Exempt Job Summary: Utilizes engineering methodology to support program launch readiness production planning and continuous improvement. Provides the necessary fabrication and machining knowledge processing skills and technical support to the company to ensure American Rheinmetall achieves optimal levels of safety quality productivity and delivery to internal and external customers satisfaction. Essential Functions: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints models drawings and technical specifications.
- Extensive working knowledge of manufacturing practices in a diverse range of processes including weld fabrications and machining fabrications.
- GD&T experience required.
- Experience with the tooling development process both production tooling and validation tooling from design through build required.
- Extensive knowledge of process flows material flow assistive tooling devices.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational analytical interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and varying environment.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software preferred.
- Ability to apply problem solving tools and methodology to a variety of manufacturing and business process issues.
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience training and/or testing) Education: Bachelors degree in industrial engineering Mechanical Engineering or other engineering field.
