The Project
The Alkimos desalinisation project includes the design construction operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels seawater intake system a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant groundwater system drinking water storage and pump system supported by civil electrical and bulk earthworks.

Were currently looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer with SMP experience to bolster our delivery team. Based out of Alkimos you will be involved in the delivery of SMP installation works on site liaising and managing subcontractors as well as managing self-perform teams.

Key accountabilities for the position:

• Manage mid to large size projects to schedule and budget.
• Keep management advised of all quality schedule and budget variances in a timely manner.
• Manage subordinate or other discipline resources to quality schedule and budget requirements.
• Preparing project documents and reports.
• Data and document entry into various platforms.
• Prepare contract amendments change order documentation and claims documentation.
• Support proposal opportunities that are strategically aligned with your group

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• At least 2-5 years of previous work experience in Mechanical installation in Water Plants.
• Previous experience in Supervision of mechanical equipment and documentation of suppliers
• Proactive and motivated person
• Working Team approach.
