Are you an experienced test engineer who thrives on analyzing complex systems and ensuring products work flawlessly in real life

We are now seeking an engineer with solid testing experience to join our Body Worn Test this role you will take ownership of test planning and execution perform hands-on testing across devices applications and cloud services and help deliver high-quality solutions that our customers can trust.

Who is your future team

Youll join a skilled QA team responsible for Axis Body Worn Solutions from wearable devices to applications and cloud services. Our mission is to ensure that every device and feature operates reliably securely and delivers outstanding quality in the field.

We collaborate closely with developers product managers and stakeholders sharing knowledge and continuously improving our testing approaches. Together we make sure that our products work seamlessly for customers in real-world scenarios. You can learn more about our Body Worn Solutions here.

What youll do here as Test Engineer

In this role youll combine a solution level perspective with hands-on testing of devices applications and cloud components. Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute functional and exploratory tests to simulate real customer workflows and identify potential system issues.
• Plan and run comprehensive tests that cover multiple components and their interactions ensuring end-to-end reliability.
• Develop and maintain test strategies and plans that account for integration points and dependencies prioritizing efforts based on risk.
• Evaluate and validate system stability performance security usability and the overall user experience.
• Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to detect analyze and address defects.
• Drive improvements in test design methodology and overall system-level testing practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance automation and collaborate with the automation team to increase efficiency.
• Coach and support junior test engineers sharing knowledge and promoting best practices within the team.

Who are we looking for

You have solid experience in software testing with a strong emphasis on manual and exploratory testing. You are comfortable performing system- and integration-level testing in complex environments and have a system-oriented mindset able to understand both the technical details and the big picture.

You are a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with developers product managers and stakeholders and you take a customer-centric approach ensuring products work reliably in real-world scenarios. You are also familiar with automation and scripting tools and continuously look for ways to improve testing processes.

You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Additional experience that will strengthen your application: you have experience with embedded systems or IoT devices performance and load testing mentoring or supporting junior test engineers experience with Python and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
