About this role

As a Senior Laboratory Engineer at QC you will be the go-to expert for validation and qualification processes. Youll engage with all facets of the department leading important change initiatives driving enhancements and addressing significant deviations. Additionally youll facilitate internal GMP training and provide invaluable support to your colleagues in quality assurance and daily control testing.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in the validation and qualification of Quality Control (QC) methods processes and instruments.
• Lead and oversee change controls risk assessments corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) improvement initiatives and investigations of significant deviations.
• Assume responsibility for the Quality Control Validation Master Plan (VMP) and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• Conduct periodic reviews of QC instruments including their qualification calibration and inventory management.
• Provide specialized knowledge in QC activities pertaining to the release testing of products as well as media and environmental monitoring.
• Engage in and present during regulatory inspections.
• Assist the organization with analytical tasks and provide training to colleagues as necessary.
• Execute and review analyses in accordance with established methods and procedures.

• A university degree (BSc or MSc) in a pertinent discipline such as chemistry biotechnology or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as well as regulatory requirements with a minimum of five years of experience.
• Proficient in problem-solving and decision-making with the capability to oversee complex projects and foster continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication abilities and proficiency in delivering training.
• Experience in quality control testing and the release processes for pharmaceutical products.
• Familiarity with inspections conducted by regulatory authorities.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English in both spoken and written.
