The Communications Manager at UWMadison Libraries produces compelling stories campaigns and publications to advance the impact and national profile of the Libraries.
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Advancement and Communications at Libraries the Communications Manager is responsible for strategically planning and producing a variety of editorial content for various audiences ranging from current students and patrons of the libraries to members of the media philanthropic supporters and colleagues within the organization.
Rooted in strong attention to detail in writing and editing the Communications Manager draws on best practices in digital marketing to maximize outreach and impact. The Communications Manager will work in a collaborative team environment within Libraries as well as partner with colleagues on the UWMadison campus and the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association to achieve desired communications and advancement outcomes.

This position is eligible for partial remote work. A remote work agreement may allow for a maximum of 40% remote per week.
Occasional night and weekend work is required based on event and outreach activity.

Starting salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Well-qualified applicants can anticipate earning between $70000 - $85000 with final salary based on experience and qualifications.
