We are looking for an energetic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our Avonhead Village. Ideally you will have experience in events hospitality or aged care but more important to us will be your genuine love for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
You will plan and facilitate a programme of activities and exciting events for our residents providing quality resident support managing vulnerable residents and communications with families. You will need to be kind patient and have great communication skills while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best exercise programmes regular outings sporting and recreational events.
Initially the hours of work will be Monday - Friday a minimum of 80 hours per fortnight.

Qualifications :
- Excellent interpersonal skills the ability to convey an idea and engender enthusiasm and interest
- Good written communication skills that target the audience and medium appropriately
- Strong organisation skills ability to multi-task
- Computer literacy with using Microsoft Outlook (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher)
- An event management or hospitality background would be an advantage
- Current first aid certificate
- A current driver license
