The Scheduling Coordinator is a critical team member managing the overall scheduling coordination of designated home locations in a specified geographic area. This role creates weekly schedules verifies and reconciles time & attendance monitors & ensures staff training compliance and manages the call off/on-call process during business hours. As well as process payroll Bi-Weekly.
What Youll Do
- Develop a plan for employee coverage; maintain and manage schedules by filling open shifts
- Coordinate employee schedules to ensure locations are appropriately staffed with properly trained staff
- Communicate staff assignments
- Review edit and reconcile employee time cards
- Approve timecards timely at the close of each pay period; meet all payroll deadlines
- Create and generate reports for managers
- Maintain confidentiality of all staffing/employee information
- Demonstrate flexibility with own schedule to provide optimum coverage for the position
- Develop a thorough knowledge of Dungarvin policies procedures and contractual requirements
- Report any unusual staffing circumstances to the Program Director and/or Area Director
- Seek ways to assist fellow staff
- Offer constructive positive solutions to problems; respond with tact and diplomacy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :

- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Valid drivers license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating employee schedule*
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills to work in multiple systems including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook Kronos Excel Word & PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational time management and decision-making skills to set priorities and meet timelines
- Ability to accurately process information with confidence flexibility initiative and self-directedness
- Ability to maturely deal with unexpected demands and incidents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels within the organization
*Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of years of experience
