Boskalis is currently looking for a student to start (Medio 2026) their graduation project within the Project Planning team at the Global Engineering department of Boskalis Offshore Energy.
As a planner you are a key player in further developing Boskalis position within the Offshore Energy market. Planners support both the tender processes and the execution of projects; we ensure that time resources and milestones are realistically structured monitored and continuously improved.
By actively engaging with stakeholders a planner makes a constructive and valued contribution to both the tender and project phases reducing risks and maximizing opportunities while keeping everyone informed and aligned. The end goal is to achieve a smooth project execution with a reliable and achievable schedule.
A key to success as a planner is being process-minded able to adapt to different situations and personalities and to perform well in a high-pressure environment. You are analytical proactive and not afraid to highlight what others might overlook: schedule risks critical path conflicts or unrealistic planning assumptions. Planners not only build and analyse great schedules they also communicate complex information in a clear and simple way ensuring full understanding across all stakeholders.
There is no clearly defined topic but feel free to apply for a graduation thesis at our department and discuss with us what your interests are what drive you and where those interests can be a benefit for cooperation we will work out a tailor-made assignment.
Your qualities
- You are doing a technical or engineering related Bachelor (HBO) or Master (WO) that correlate to construction or logistical disciplines and have an affinity for project planning management in complex offshore projects.
- Eager to learn project management and planning management concepts.
- Preferably you are available to work from our office in Papendrecht at least four days a week.
The following competencies are also important for the role:
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to develop further.
- A flexible attitude and ability to handle last-minute information and adjustments.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

- Low threshold to plan meetings with people to gain a better understanding.

- Specific internal training on various subjects.
