Job Summary
- Perform chemical analysis using GCMS LCQTOF DHS (Outgassing) FTIR and IC instruments according to established test methods and reliability requirements
- Providing expert guidance to engineering teams on technical matters
- Leading research and development efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies.
- Encouraging innovation within the team and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that lab activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements to have full involvement in quality audits.
- Oversee analytical data and ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with development team for local technology upgrade or improvement.
- Provide clear vision/mission to the lab team towards business accomplishment.
Additional Information :
- Qualification
- Master degree or Bachelor degree majoring in Chemistry
- SKILLS:
- Experience in commercial lab or disk drive industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of AI application is preferred
- Expertise in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficient in quality control skills including the use of 7QC tools MSA SPC 8D reports DOE etc.
- Familiar with reporting and data analysis software (e.g. PowerPoint Excel JMP).
- Detail-oriented action-driven self-motivated and capable of working independently to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members and excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in both verbal and written English.
