Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Engineering Executive to join our dynamic team in Kochi India. As the Engineering Executive you will play a crucial role in leading our engineering department overseeing maintenance programs and driving innovation in our operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the engineering department aligning with organizational goals and objectives
- Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance programs for various systems including air-conditioning electrical refrigeration and building maintenance
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering professionals fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure efficient operations and optimal resource utilization
- Analyze and optimize engineering processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Manage budgets and resource allocation for engineering projects and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve engineering operations and sustainability
- Prepare and present reports on department performance project status and key metrics to senior management
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality service delivery and adherence to contracts
- Drive energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices within the organization
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a engineering role
- Proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams and projects
- Extensive knowledge of various engineering systems maintenance programs and industry best practices
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovation in engineering operations
- Proficiency in project management and budget control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience in implementing and optimizing preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate across departments
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies
