Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a thriving cafe and busy hospitality section ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality service delivery
- Collaborate closely with the account manager head chef and client to maintain alignment with organisational goals and client expectations
- Lead the development and implementation of a health-focused food and beverage offering keeping abreast of current trends and nutritional guidelines
- Foster a culture of exceptional guest engagement personally interacting with patrons to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Spearhead menu development initiatives working alongside the head chef to create innovative seasonal and health-conscious offerings
- Conceptualise plan and execute internal events from inception to delivery ensuring seamless coordination across all departments
- Establish and maintain a robust system for collecting analysing and actioning guest feedback to continuously improve service quality and guest experience
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of staff providing training mentorship and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and maintain high standards
- Oversee financial aspects of the operation including budgeting cost control and revenue optimisation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations food hygiene standards and licensing requirements
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and hospitality services increasing visibility and attracting new clientele
- Manage inventory and supply chain negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of high-quality ingredients and materials
- Represent the establishment at industry events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed about sector developments
- Implement and oversee sustainability initiatives to minimise environmental impact and align with corporate social responsibility goals
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday with some evenings to cover internal events as required
