Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager of Oncology Out-patient Clinics Systemic Therapy and Radiation the dietitian will provide advanced nutritional management to patients within the Outpatient Oncology Clinic. The successful candidate will be able to provide nutrition intervention and counseling to patients and their families within the clinic or virtually. They will also participate in teaching dietetic interns and others students if applicable as well as professional projects and quality initiatives as required.
Qualifications :
- Practical training in an accredited practical program in Canada or equivalent
- Member in good standing (good character and conduct) and membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required
- Record of Ethical and Competent Practice
- Language proficiency in English required however speaking additional languages would be an asset
- Experience in an outpatient Oncology program would be an asset
- Experience in the management of enteral and parenteral nutrition support would be an asset
- Demonstrates the application of evidenced-based practice with a focus on patient/family-centered care required
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on matters relating to the nutritional care of patients
- Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Demonstrates ability to effectively prioritize workload with effect organization and time-management skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication and group facilitation skills
- Excellent attendance punctuality and work record
- Must demonstrate Oslers Values of Respect Excellence Service Compassion Innovation and Collaboration

Hours: Currently days(Monday to Friday) (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $40.94 per hour
Maximum: $52.45 per hour
