As an Early Career Trial Attorney youll handle bodily injury property damage lawsuits and more with thrilling trials arbitrations and mediations. Beyond the courtroom youll provide vital counsel to business clients and coordinate between legal teams. Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict including initial case assessment discovery depositions motion practice pre-trial negotiations courtroom advocacy and post-trial motions to ensure favorable outcomes for clients.
Gather and organize documents evidence and legal research for cases including preparation for hearings trials arbitrations mediations and depositions.
Conduct legal research on relevant laws regulations and case precedents; prepare summaries and reports.
Prepare and draft pleadings motions discovery responses and other legal documents.
Interview clients and witnesses as well as drafting summaries of their statements and maintaining communication records.
Attend court hearings depositions and other legal proceedings to observe and assist as needed; may represent the company or clients in routine matters.
Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assist in updating the legal team on potential impacts to ongoing cases.
Participate in training sessions and mentorship programs to develop legal skills and gain exposure to more complex legal work.
