Tintern Grammar is seeking to appoint a Careers Department Assistant to work within the school. The successful applicant will report to the Careers Coordinator. This is a fully onsite role with training mentorship and a clear development pathway. Perfect for someone early in their career or wishing to diversity their skill set by gaining hands-on experience and long-term growth inside a supportive Careers team in a Secondary School setting.
About the Role
This key role works within the Secondary School and is responsible for the supporting the Careers Coordinator as well as assisting Year 10 secondary students in relation to subject selection. The role also includes the title of Work Experience Coordinator who manages the databases forms and liaises with stakeholders such as employers parents and students.
The position provides essential administrative support to the Careers Coordinator and is instrumental in the smooth operation of the Careers Department processes.
This is an ongoing Part-time (0.4FTE) position effective Term 1 2026.
The 0.4 FTE (15.2 hours) can be worked over three days in consultation with the preferred candidate.
