Were looking for a reliable and compassionate individuals to support the safe and efficient movement of patients and equipment within our this casual role youll play an essential part in ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth daily operations working closely with clinical teams to uphold safety dignity and service excellence.
What youll do:
Assist with the safe transport of patients using various equipment (e.g. bed wheelchair trolley).
Support clinical staff in transferring patients and performing necessary tasks such as repositioning and turning.
Conduct safety checks on equipment before use to ensure all transportation is safe and compliant with hospital standards.
Handle mortuary-related tasks with dignity and respect ensuring proper care for deceased patients.
Maintain cleanliness and assist with equipment repairs and janitorial services as required.
Adhere to strict safety standards and actively contribute to Zero Harm initiatives.
What youll bring:
Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and develop strong working relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Willingness to continuously build on knowledge and skills.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable consistent and well-presented with a positive attitude.
Please note:As a pre-requisite for this role successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical as well as provide an up-to-date National Police Clearanceand Immunisation history.
