The Role
As a Theatre Orderly you will play an essential role in supporting the smooth operation of our operating theatres and ensuring patients receive safe high-quality care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting and supporting clinical staff during procedures.
• Preparing and setting up theatres for surgical cases including checking equipment.
• Safely transporting patients between wards and departments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and ensuring waste removal in line with hospital protocols.
• Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment for staff and patients.

What Youll Bring

• Certificate III in Health Services (preferred but not required).
• Previous experience in an operating theatre environment (highly desirable).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients staff and visitors.
• Physical capacity to undertake the demands of the role.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
• A proactive reliable and team-focused attitude.
• A genuine commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Remuneration:On offer is an hourly rate from $32.30 to $37.94. superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 1.1 - Level 2.4).
