About the Role

Vanguard Australia is seeking aSenior Communications Specialistto lead strategic communications for ourFinancial Adviser Services(FAS) andInvestment Management Group(IMG). This is a senior role for a communications professional who understands markets investments and the nuances of adviser-focused messaging.

Youllcraft end-to-end campaigns that position Vanguard as a trusted thought leader translating complex investment and business priorities into clear compelling narratives for advisers and industrypartners. Working closely with senior leaders and marketing partnersyoullamplify Vanguards voice across media owned channels and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic communications campaigns aligned with FAS and IMG priorities.

  • Write high-quality content for media releases Q&As social media and internal channels.

  • Manage campaigns end-to-end ensuringtimelydelivery and measurable impact.

  • Build strong relationships acrossVanguardand external partners to ensure aligned client-first messaging.

  • IdentifyPR opportunities and turn insights into impactful media moments.

  • Monitor engagement metrics and continuously refine communication strategies.

WhatWereLooking For

  • Minimum7years in communications or journalism with a strong finance andmarketsbackground.

  • Understanding ofmarket trends and foundational knowledge of ETFsshares bondssuperannuationand modelportfolios.

  • Established relationships withbusiness mediaindustrypodcastsandconference providers.

  • Ability to simplify complex priorities into clear narratives for advisers andpartners.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across business divisions and external partners.

  • Ability to link communications to business outcomesadviseradvocacyandproduct activation.

  • Exceptional writing skills meticulous attention to detail and adaptability across diverse audiences and digital platforms.
