Expert Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert Systems Engineer to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to support business objectives and growth. This individual will lead innovative projects optimize system performance and ensure the highest levels of reliability security and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical expertise strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain complex systems architecture and infrastructure to meet organizational needs.

Lead the planning and execution of systems integration upgrades and migrations.

Analyze system requirements identify technical solutions and oversee system implementation.

Optimize system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Ensure the security and integrity of all system components and data.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development network engineering and cybersecurity to support project delivery.

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced hardware software and network issues.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including system diagrams processes and procedures.

Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and mitigation strategies.

Stay current with emerging technologies industry trends and best practices in systems engineering.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

7 years of progressive experience in systems engineering or a related technical field.

Strong expertise in systems architecture integration and administration (Windows Linux or UNIX environments).

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V) cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).

Solid understanding of networking protocols storage solutions and cybersecurity principles.

Proven experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python Bash).

Excellent analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication documentation and collaborative abilities.

Hourly Pay Rate: $60 - $90 per hour
