Canon hosted by one of our higher education clients is seeking a part-time Photo & Video Intern for the Spring 2026 semester to join the Career Centers marketing and communications team. This position will report to the Marketing and Digital Communications Coordinator to support promotional educational and archival photography and videography.
This position will play a key role in departmental sustainability and social responsibility initiatives by creating digital-first media that reduces physical and digital waste highlights community eco-friendly practices and promotes responsible data and media preservation.
Your Impact
Attend events at both campuses to take photos and videos Edit photos and videos for promotional educational and archival use Collaborate with marketing team members to assist in creating photo and video-based content for social media Produce scripted educational resource videos with consultation from subject matter experts to reduce need for printed career resources Lead headshot sessions for current students Support digital asset management primarily with Flickr and Google Drive
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Qualifications: 1 years of experience with photography video production and editing. Familiarity with digital asset management. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Final Cut Pro. Previous experience with Canon photo and video equipment. Knowledge of social media platforms specifically video-based functionality. Understanding of file metadata and accessibility. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Flickr. Demonstrated interest in sustainability environmental conservation or social information: - Schedule: Flexible up to 20 hours per week. Nights and weekends required based on event schedule. - This position will support our customer at site locations in Manhattan NY and the Bronx NY. - In accordance with applicable law we are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $20.00 hourly. - Please note: this is a customer-facing role and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.
