Job Summary

Adult Partial Hospital Program Brown University Health

The Adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP) at Brown University Health is seeking a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist to join our General Adult Track. This intensive short-term treatment program runs Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m.2:00 p.m. providing evidence-based care for adults (ages 18) managing mental health challenges that affect daily functioning.
Our General Track is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While not required we are especially interested in bilingual providers who can serve our Spanish-speaking patients.
This position includes opportunities to provide individual and group therapy. The role may be in-person or remote though all patient care in this program is currently delivered virtually.

Qualifications
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program (required)
  • Completion of an APA-accredited clinical internship (required)
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island and Massachusetts
  • Experience with ACT DBT or other third-wave behavioral therapies
  • Commitment to team-based hospital-centered care
