Job Title: Senior Rig Driller/Operator

Lead and manage drilling operations on-site for foundations subsurface investigations boreholes or piling work. Ensure safe efficient and precise drilling while supervising the rig crew and coordinating with project teams.

• Supervise rig mobilization setup drilling and demobilization according to project plans and safety protocols.

• Operate and maintain various rig types (rotary reverse circulation core piling rigs) and support equipment.

• Monitor drilling parameters-depth torque pressure drilling fluid flow-and adjust operations for optimal performance.

• Keep detailed logs of drilling activities maintenance equipment checks and site conditions.

• Enforce rigorous safety standards including PPE use toolbox talks emergency drills and well control.

• Mentor and train junior drill crew members on technical and safety practices.

• Coordinate logistics for crew materials and equipment movements.

• Promptly identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues to reduce downtime.

• Minimum 6 years of practical drilling experience with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role.

• HND diploma or degree in engineering geotechnics mining or related technical field.

• Valid certifications in well control (IWCF/IADC Level 4) H2S awareness BOSIET or equivalent.

• Demonstrated competence with rig models like Epiroc Atlas Copco CME Sandvik Bauer SANY or Liebherr.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Physically fit for outdoor work and extended shifts under varied conditions.

• Valid drivers license or heavy equipment operator permit.

• Hands-on experience with geotechnical or piling techniques (auger drilling percussion core drilling).

• Familiarity with QA/QC processes and maintaining HSE documentation.

• Ability to work with engineers site managers and clients to align drilling activity with project goals.
