Job Summary

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Monthly Reporting

    • Collaborate with the General Ledger (GL) team to ensure reporting integrity.
    • Prepare analysis of financial results and business performance.
    • Responsible for the write-up and variance analysis of the Finance section of Flash reporting.
    • Prepare monthly P&L / Opex dashboard.
  • Latest Estimates (LE) & Budget (Annual)

    • Act as a Key User for Vena Solutions.
    • Drive the Budget or LE process across the organization.
    • Prepare and update LE / Budget templates.
    • Responsible for the preparation of presentation or Budget Book write-up.
    • Resolve any related issues that affect the accuracy and timeliness of LE or Budget.

Tax Reporting

  • Statutory Tax

    • Lead and coordinate annual tax filings.
    • Serve as the main liaison with the Tax Consultant.
    • Prepare tax organizer and Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI).
    • Ensure compliance and governance to local tax requirements.
  • Tax Accounting

    • Estimate tax provisions and deferred tax positions for month-end closing and statutory audit.
    • Reconcile relevant Balance Sheet Accounts for Taxes.
    • Prepare year-end Tagetik tax schedules.
  • Investment Incentives and Opportunities

    • Identify and leverage investment incentives and opportunities from the Economic Development Board (EDB) or Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
    • Lead the Capex process and ensure appropriate controls.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

  • Manage the accounts payable process ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  • Oversee accounts receivable monitoring collections and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and customers to ensure smooth financial transactions.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable and receivable functions.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in accounting or analytics
  • Degree in Finance Accountancy or Business or professional qualification in Accountancy
  • Proven strong analytical skills and conceptual capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting and financial management concepts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for dealing with a cross functional team
  • ERP or system knowledge in Oracle and other reporting software
