ABOUT THE POSITION The Director of Enrollment Management is a senior member of the leadership at Bishop Hendricken High School responsible for recruiting reviewing and enrolling new students appropriate to the school mission. The Director working with key collaborators is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enrollment strategy consistent with the schools mission. The position requires experience to creatively meet the challenges associated with a quickly changing and competitive private school market. The Director of Admissions reports to the Principal of the School. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Promote and effectively articulate Bishop Hendrickens mission with a focus on community culture and the student experience in one-on-one group and public settings Develop and implement all elements of the year-long admissions cycle to promote a high yield of applicants through recruitment review and enrollment Lead and oversee key admissions events including: open houses information nights entrance exams placement exams accepted student events and new student orientation Organize and lead individual and small group visit opportunities including: private tours shadow visits and group visit days Schedule and attend recruitment events in the community including private parochial and charter elementary and middle schools Lead and inspire the community including faculty staff parents students and alumni to actively participate in admissions events as ambassadors Coordinate and organize the application process for each prospective student from inquiry to enrollment Consistently and clearly communicate with families to build strong and trusting relationships throughout the admissions process Lead the Admissions Committee through the application review process determination of admissions decisions and academic placement of accepted applicants Collaborate with the Finance Committee to identify scholarship needs and to determine the allocation of tuition assistance funds Collaborate with the Director of Communications & Marketing to ensure proper messaging and promotion in support of the admissions cycle Collect prepare and maintain comprehensive admissions and enrollment data to inform recruitment strategy Support and consistently uphold an equitable admissions process that values a diversity of student gifts and talents mental and physical abilities and socio-economic and cultural backgrounds and experiences Manage the Student Ambassador Program (Ambassadors Club) and engage parents to assist in frontline community marketing Oversee budget workflow and operations for the Admissions Office Report status of the admissions cycle at each step including data and statistics to the President Principal Board of Advisors and other key collaborators KEY COLLABORATORS The Director of Admissions will work closely with several key collaborators including but not limited to: President /Principal Admissions Assistant Director Finance Committee (Director of Finance Business Manager Assistant Business Manager) Director of Communications & Marketing Dean of Campus Life Athletic Director Director of Academic Support Services Director of School Counseling
