AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue adoption and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS India is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for Cross-Industry team to help customers across Healthcare Life Sciences Travel and Logistics domain.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced innovative environments and has a passion for helping disruptive companies scale their businesses using cloud technology. Youll work with some of Indias most exciting digital-first enterprises helping them architect scalable secure and cost-effective solutions that drive their business growth.

In this role you will engage with digital native and enterprise customers to understand their unique business challenges identify opportunities for innovation and develop technical solutions that leverage AWS cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
As a Solutions Architect youll help your customers plan their successful cloud journey leveraging technologies like GenAI to achieve business outcomes. Youll solve complex technical challenges so your customers can focus on their business. This includes using your knowledge to craft scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures. Youll drive or take part in technical solutions discussions diving deep into the details with customer teams.

Building relationships to understand our customers and partners is key. As a trusted technical advisor youll use your interpersonal skills to influence a variety of stakeholders from technical teams to executives. Youll help ensure their short-term technology decisions are aligned with their long-term goals. Speeding up the adoption of our services will be part of your day to day.

Youll also act as thought leader in the wider community. This includes taking part in educating sharing best practices presenting at events writing white papers blogs and running workshops.

As a customer obsessed advisor youll also have the chance to shape the direction of our products and services. This is through gathering feedback from customers whilst collaborating with our engineering and service teams.


A day in the life
The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud a typical week you will meet multiple customers and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products youll craft highly scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers business problems. As part of our team youll have the opportunity to continuously learn and innovate daily.

Cross-Industry Solutions Architecture team is dedicated to helping customers across Healthcare Life Sciences Travel and Logistics sectors. We are a dynamic group of technologists who combine deep architectural expertise with industry-specific knowledge to solve complex business challenges. Our team collaborates closely with business owners and technology leaders to understand domain-specific pain points. We build industry-specific reference architectures conduct technical workshops and create reusable solutions that accelerate innovation. - 7 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
- 3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics).

- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
- 5 years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience
